The second half of our #Pinzgau23 path towards promotion starts as it began, with SAK 1914 at home. Due to weather-related cancellation of matches against SV Seekirchen, Alexander Schriebl’s squad start the second half with a match in-hand and the confidence of our flawless record at 1508 SaalfeldenArena.
⏫ Opposition ⏫
Promotion contenders in their first season in the third division in 2018/19, their aspirations were dashed by the pandemic and infrastructural problems, languishing in the lower echelons of the table ever since. Currently eighth in the table.
⏫ Team News ⏫
Alexander Schriebl is still without Lukas Moosmann with Semir Gvozdjar suspended for accumulation of yellow cards.
⏫ Statement ⏫
“Our ultimate goal is not only to maintain our home series, but also to extend it. On Friday, a strong opponent awaits us, who was beaten somewhat below value in the last rounds. You have seen that the Nonntaler had problems to bring a lead over time and thus became a little more hectic in their game. The narrow victory in Hallein has given us a lot of positive momentum, which we also saw in training. After the two match cancellations against Seekirchen, we used our time well and completed some good units together.”
⏫ Head-To-Head ⏫
FC Pinzgau have their noses in front in this fixture, with ten victories, six draws and eight defeats from their previous 24 meetings. Our last meeting was the opener of the season, a hard-fought 0-1 away win.
