Croatian Forward Colic Joins FC Pinzgau

22-Year-Old Croatian Forward Marko Colic joins Pinzgau from NK Karlovac 1919

In the form of Marko Colic, another talented forward is on board at FCPS. The 22-year-old Croat was most recently on the books at NK Karlovac 1919, and his signing is intended to add an important edge to the Regional League side’s attacking football.

Christian Ziege offered his take on the new arrival: “With the signing of Marko Colic we’ve effectively concluded our planned transfer activities on the offensive side of things. He’s a very versatile player in terms of positional deployment, and his strengths lie in his finishing. At the end of last season, Marko trained with us for a week and left a really good impression. We’re convinced that he can give our attacking game an extra special touch.”

Colic himself had this to say about his new challenge with FC Pinzgau: “I’m really pleased that the transfer worked out. I felt really comfortable when I was training here on trial, and I quickly established a good connection with both the players and the staff. I found out about the great project that’s happening here through my uncle, who lives in Saalfelden, and I was interested straight away. I’m happy to be in Pinzgau, and I’m hoping for a successful season!”
