🆚 BSK 1933
🏆 Regionalliga West 2023, Round 7
🏟️ 1508 SaalfeldenArena
🕖 May 20, 2023 (16:00 CET) 🇦🇹
After the first win in the Westliga last weekend, the Salzburg derby now awaits Markus Fürstaller’s team. After a difficult start, the Pongau side have improved greatly in the last few rounds and currently rank ex aequo with VfB Hohenems and Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz at the top with 11 points. Tandari & Co. – currently five points – want to make up ground in the Westliga rankings and have not yet given up the race for the regional championship title after a first round that did not go according to plan.
Four games still await FC Pinzgau Saalfelden, three of which will be played at 1508 SaalfeldenArena.
While the FC Pinzgau Saalfelden men’s squad will kick off another interesting soccer Saturday at 4:00 pm, the highly anticipated Pinzgau derby between the FC Pinzgau women and the women’s team of SC Leogang will follow at 6:30 pm.
Cool drinks will already be served from 15:00 in the 1508 SaalfeldenArena at a pop-up store of “tom Almhütte – Hochkönig.”
PERSONNEL SITUATION
Lukas Moosmann and Michael Noggler return to the FC Pinzgau Saalfelden squad after their suspensions. Marco Colic has to take a break after his fifth yellow card. Semir Gvozdjar and Raphael Streitwieser are also unavailable against BSK 1933 due to injury.
STATEMENT
Markus Fürstaller: “The victory in Kufstein did the whole team a lot of good, you could see that in this week of training. But we don’t want to rest on our laurels, we want to take the positive momentum with us and go one better at home against Bischofshofen. The draw at the start of the Westliga in Pongau a few weeks ago was unnecessary from our point of view. This time we want to do better, show the necessary consistency and get the next points. We are confident that we will succeed in our arena!”
