Sports science student Daniel Raischl is a noteworthy addition to this season’s squad. He joins us from SAK 1914, our closest rivals and strongest competitors last season, and is aiming to shore up the defensive midfield position for FCPS during this campaign. Daniel knows what it’s like to win, having been victorious in the Austrian Youth Leagues at U16 and U18 level, before playing a part in Red Bull Salzburg’s incredible UEFA Youth League winning run in 2017. As part of Red Bull’s world-famous youth structure, Daniel made 64 professional senior appearances for FC Liefering in Austria’s second division, getting three assists along the way.

About me:

“I love the feeling of winning the ball with a great tackle, but celebrating a win with your team-mates after the final whistle is the best feeling! I love the landscape here in Austria, especially the mountains and lakes, but I’m here to develop as a player and learn a lot from Christian Ziege. Of course, I want to get promoted to the second division, I think in football you always need to set high targets, and this one is realistic. I want to achieve success with FC Pinzgau.”
