Dominik joined FCPS in January 2020 and is amongst the most experienced members of Christian Ziege’s team. A former youth player at both Austria Vienna and Rapid Vienna, Dominik started his professional career at Barcelona-based UE Sant Andreu in 2009. This was followed by moves to Spanish sides Alicante CF and Hercules B, as well as a season at Wacker Burghausen in Germany, before his return to Austrian football in 2014. Since then, Dominik has played for SV Wallern, Austria Klagenfurt, Viennese cult favorite Wiener Sport Club, Stadlau, then making the move up to the 2. Liga where he impressed at SV Horn and Vorwärts Steyr, which spurred FCPS to recruit him for the project here at the Saalfelden Arena. The Vienna-born midfielder will play a key role in 2020/21 as we look for promotion.
“Joining FCPS is the chance to be part of a unique and exciting project! Austria has many cool cities, great lakes, loads of mountains and is incredibly diverse - which is why I love it here. The first football shirt I ever owned was an FC Barcelona shirt, but my earliest memory of the game was seeing Austria Vienna take on Rapid Vienna in the Vienna Derby. Outside of football, my main passions are tennis and travel.”
