For the latest episode of the FCPS Fan Owner Podcast (exclusively available to fan owners of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden), Lee Wingate spoke to Managing Director Mark Ciociola about the wide-ranging benefits that come with fan ownership and the new initiative aiming to connect fan owners all over the world with local supporters in Saalfelden. Here’s what Mark had to say on…

…the return to competitive action after almost 300 days:

“It was really good, first off. But it’s crazy to think that it’s been that long. There’s been so much work that’s gone in in those nine months that you almost forget that’s what it’s all about: the 90 minutes between the white lines.”

…the potential for fan owner benefits to evolve:

“As everybody knows, we’re doing some things that we think fan owners would want, but we want to hear from fan owners too. It’s a collaborative effort, so reach out to us and tell us what you want your experience to be.”

…the recent fan owner call with Lukas Schubert and Harry Cooksley:

“They talked about everything: Harry’s goal, how they both overcame injuries and difficulties in their careers to get to the point where they are now, and Lukas was even telling our American fan owners all about the beer in Austria!”

…the “Buy a Beer for a Friend” initiative:

“We were looking for a way to introduce some of the local Austrian fans to fan owners in the States, so Scott Sala came up with the idea of letting the American fans buy a beer for the Austrian fans in the stadium. Then it’s on them to e-mail that person to say thank you and hopefully strike up a friendship.”
