For the latest episode of the FCPS Fan Owner Podcast (exclusively available to fan owners of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden), Tom Middler spoke to our new Chief Marketing Officer (and well-renowned hat guy) David Herman on the direction that we're looking to take with our sponsors and partnerships here at FCPS. Here’s what David had to say on…

… his first impressions of the club:

“Over a year ago I got a phone call, and they introduced the concept of allowing fans to have a vested participation in a football club; all of the ideas were exactly what you want to hear. It's often said, but it's not often executed. I hung up the phone and my initial reaction was 'Why didn't I think of that?'

...his role as Chief Marketing Officer:

“First and foremost I'm a fan. I want to support this club, and I've come to know all the players in much the same way that everybody else has. My eyes are on what I would like to see, being responsive, and finding out what we can give fan owners that's even more, because it is their club.”

…riding out the difficulties of the current Coronavirus situation:

“People have not been able to come over and visit as quickly as we imagined. A good majority of people would get on a flight to come and see whatever game is coming up. Part of this is taking the enthusiasm of the fan owners and continuing to build upon that with initiatives like "Buy a Beer for a Friend" until the time when we can all finally get together in Saalfelden!”

Wherever you are in the world, you can become a fan owner of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden over at WeFunder. You’ll get access to the full audio interview each week, have a chance to take part in calls with the club management, and play a role in the decision-making of the club as we push for promotion. Let’s take this journey together!
