FCPS Targeting First Away Win

Mountainous Pine Blues want to take maximum points on the road for first time this term

Preview: 2021/22 Salzburg Regional League
Round 4, USK Maximarkt Anif vs. FC Pinzgau Saalfelden

Saturday 7 August 2021, 15:30 CET, Sportzentrum Anif

On the road this season, FC Pinzgau Saalfelden have suffered a narrow defeat to St. Johann and drawn with SV Wals-Grünau. The Ziege crew will now be targeting their first victory away from home when they pay a visit to USK Anif this Saturday. Anif currently occupy eighth place in the table and have three points on the board, having won one of their opening three matches.

In addition to the long-term injury absentees Denis Kahrimanovic (cruciate ligament) and Semir Gvozdjar (adductors), Christian Ziege will be without the suspended Lukas Moosmann.

Christian Ziege: “We’ve been able to create some very good chances, particularly in our last match against Wals-Grünau; that makes us confident for the tasks ahead. But if we want to take something from the match against Anif, we need to be more decisive going forward and increase our efficiency in front of goal. We’re heading into the clash with Anif on the back of a very good week of preparation.”
