Goals: Scheibenhofer (31′, 41′)

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden was defeated by SV Wals-Grünau 0:2 away on Saturday afternoon. Despite the bitter defeat, the highlight was the return of both Denis Kahrimanovic and Raphael Streitwieser after a long injury break.

“The starting position was not easy when you travel as the favorite to a team that is currently further down the table. We set ourselves a lot of goals. From the beginning it was an open game, it went back and forth a lot. Grünau was tactically very disciplined and compact and gave us few spaces. The bottom line is that they exploited our mistakes ice-cold – our rest defense was not quite as consistent this time. Many of our players didn’t reach their optimum performance, even though they tried everything until the end. You can’t blame them for anything. It just wasn’t our day,” explains FCPS coach Hannes Schützinger.

Lineup: Schröcker, Colic (69. Streitwieser), Eder, Ziege, Noggler, Zehentmayr, Moosmann, B. Hutter (46. Dudaew), Joao Pedro, D. Hutter, Tandari (69. Kahrimanovic)

Win Puts Us Top https://fcps.at/win-puts-us-top/ Sun, 01 Oct 2023 13:07:23 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17322 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden 2 BSK 1933 1 (0:1)
Goals: Joao Pedro (59′), Tandari (93′) and Begovic (44′)

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden wins the Salzburg derby against BSK 1933 on Sunday afternoon with a last-minute goal by Tamas Tandari in stoppage time with 2:1 and takes the lead in the table in the Regionalliga West for the first time this season.

“It was a really exciting game, even though we had to cope with short term absences in terms of personnel. The first 25 minutes clearly go to us, there we have found playful solutions and the opponent has struggled. After the drinking break, the thread is torn, we were always too late and from the head not ready. The goal we conceded before the break came at a bad moment for us. In the second half we changed the formation and were better in the game again. The equalizer gave us the second air. In the final phase, when everyone was already expecting a draw, we struck again. This shows the spirit and mentality of the team – simply great,” said FCPS coach Hannes Schützinger.

Lineup: Schröcker, Colic, Eder, Adjei (85. Benedek), Noggler (46. Dudaew), Zehentmayr, Moosmann, B. Hutter (90.+7), Joao Pedro (90.+6), D. Hutter, Tandari

No Cup Reward https://fcps.at/no-cup-reward/ Thu, 28 Sep 2023 13:10:31 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17324 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden 0 SCR Altach 2 (0:2)
Goals: Abdijanovic (32′), Nuhiu (38′)

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden sold themselves dearly on Wednesday evening in the second round of the Uniqa ÖFB Cup against Bundesliga team SCR Altach and had to admit defeat in the end with 0:2 after a strong performance.

“It was a really strong performance from our team today. The guys were really hot and impressed us. We were a bit shy for the first 15 minutes, but then got into the game really well. We did a really good job, held our own and made Altach nervous. It’s a pity that we then got two unfortunate goals within a short time. In the second half, we went for it even more and created problems for Altach. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to score the next goal, which would have been possible. The team can be proud of its performance, especially since you didn’t really see the difference between the Bundesliga and the Regionalliga that day,” said FCPS coach Hannes Schützinger.

Lineup: Schröcker (77. Tokic), Colic, Eder, Ziege, Adjei, Noggler, Zehentmayr (68. D. Hutter), B. Hutter (89. Dudaew), Joao Pedro (77. Benedek), Tandari, Gvozdjar (89. Schützinger)

Board Reinforcement https://fcps.at/board-reinforcement/ Sun, 24 Sep 2023 13:15:09 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17326 With Stephan Sturm, FC Pinzgau Saalfelden gains a notable new member. The 60-year-old manager, who is moving his center of life to the Pinzgau, will be the fourth member of the board of directors with immediate effect, in addition to the current board members Siegfried Kainz, Christian Herzog and Herbert Bründlinger.

“We have developed further in all areas at FC Pinzgau Saalfelden over the last few months. In addition to the qualification of the men’s team for the Regionalliga West and the promotion of the women’s team to the 2nd Bundesliga, we have also successfully launched the flagship project Prodinger Campus Pinzgau. Now we are also positioning ourselves even more broadly and professionally at the management level in order to achieve our ambitious goals,” says the FCPS board member.

Sturm: Networker, Manager, Soccer Enthusiast

Stephan Sturm has been Chairman of the Board of the Heinz Hermann Thiele Family Foundation in Munich since April. Previously, he was CEO for six years and CFO for eleven years at Fresenius, a global healthcare group with 320,000 employees worldwide. Sturm began his career in management consulting and investment banking. His love of and affinity for sports, especially soccer, was a constant companion. Among other things, he served on an advisory board of the German Football Association and was involved in the advisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt, the German Bundesliga and Europa League winner. Sturm is now expected to bring these years of experience to Pinzgau, helping to take the club to a new level.

“We are very happy that we were able to win Stephan Sturm for us. If such a personality with such an outstanding Vita wants to belong to the FCPS family, it finally confirms the good work of all in the club. Stephan has extensive know-how in the areas of business and finance. He is a soccer enthusiast. He is very well connected in sports and business. And he identifies with our region and with the people who live here. This makes him a valuable addition to our management team and the entire club. Together with him, we will consistently continue on the path to more professionalism as the basis for our sporting success,” explains the FCPS board.

Good Ideas, Clear Plan and a lot of Heart and Soul

“Even as a little boy, I was enthusiastic about soccer. This enthusiasm has never let me go. Soccer is about passion. About emotion. And about achieving success together as a team. I would like to achieve this success in the coming years together with everyone who is committed to our club. I have found structures and framework conditions here that are not a matter of course for a third-division club. There are a lot of good ideas, a clear plan, and the people in charge act thoughtfully and with a lot of passion. That impressed me, we will now build on that and exploit the existing potential of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden. I am very happy to be a part of the FCPS family and to be able to make my contributions,” says Sturm.

Streak Snapped https://fcps.at/streak-snapped/ Sat, 23 Sep 2023 13:19:16 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17329 SC Schwaz 2 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden 1 (1:1)
Goals: Dornauer (31′), Rieser (73′) and Tandari (12′) respectively.

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden, after seven wins in a row in the Regionalliga West, must admit defeat to SC Schwaz away from home on Friday evening in the most difficult conditions with a narrow score of 1:2.

“Due to the heavy rainfall, it was very difficult to play. In the center, the pitch was good, outside and in the sixteen it was really deep. It was a lot based on chance. Today we were very open defensively and allowed a lot, which is very uncharacteristic this season. But we also created good chances and deserved to take the lead. Unfortunately, we failed to score the second goal. With the exclusion of Moosmann and the substitution of Zehentmayr, we hardly found any good solutions. We did try to pull the momentum back to our side by making changes, but we didn’t succeed. Schwaz did a good job and was a bit more biting,” said FCPS coach Hannes Schützinger.

Lineup: Schröcker, Colic (46. D. Hutter), Eder, Adjei, Noggler, Zehentmayr (31. Ziege), Moosmann, B. Hutter, Joao Pedro, Tandari (77. Benedek), Gvozdjar

Wins Continue https://fcps.at/wins-continue/ Sat, 16 Sep 2023 13:23:25 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17331 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden 4 SPG Silz/Mötz 0 (2:0)
Goals: Joao Pedro (7′; 44′), Tandari (69′), Gvozdjar (72′)

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden wins the home game against SPG Silz/Mötz in the end clearly with 4:0 and could thus cheer in the 1508 SaalfeldenArena about the next three. For the team of Hannes Schützinger it was the sixth win in a row in the Regionalliga West.

“It was a really good game from us today. We knew that the opponent has a lot of quality in the offense, but often has difficulties in the defense. We were clearly better in the first 45 minutes and deserved to take a 2-0 lead. We were often a bit too hectic and didn’t finish our attacks properly. The victory is also in this amount in order, even if our opponent Kili (note: Schröcker) twice really tested. It was our fifth game that we finished without conceding a goal. It can go on like this. I’m pleased that our substitutes also did a very good job. You can see that a lot is happening in the right direction,” says FCPS coach Hannes Schützinger.

Lineup: Schröcker, Colic, Eder, Benedek, Ziege, Adjei, Zehentmayr, B. Hutter (90. N. Blatesic), Joao Pedro (76. Ramzan Dudaew), Tandari (90. Rathgeb), Gvozdjar (81. Ratan Dudaew)

Into The Quarters https://fcps.at/into-the-quarters/ Thu, 14 Sep 2023 13:26:14 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17333 SV Schwarzach 0 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden 3 (0:2)
Goals: D. Hutter (9′), Gvozdjar (18′), Dudawev (47′)

FC Pinzgau Saalfelden did not show any weakness in the fourth round of the Salzburg Provincial Cup on Wednesday evening and prevailed against SV Schwarzach with 3:0 after an appealing performance. This means that Hannes Schützinger’s team is already in the quarterfinals.

“Due to the heavy rain, the pitch was difficult to play on. We started well and let our opponent run a lot. A great combination over the middle quickly gave us the 1:0. Then a lot of things became easier. We kept the pressure on them, even though we struggled in the meantime. Schwarzach stood well and closed the spaces well – but they had problems with the short passing game. In the final phase, we switched down a gear and conserved our energy. We did our job very well and once again didn’t concede a goal. That’s how it can go on.

Prodinger Campus Pinzgau https://fcps.at/prodinger-supports-campus-pinzgau/ Wed, 06 Sep 2023 18:57:23 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17238 In recent months, FC Pinzgau Saalfelden has set the course for a sustainable and successful future, especially in the youth sector. With the flagship project Football Campus Pinzgau, the club has taken another important step. The popularity of the project in the region and the many positive feedbacks confirm the path taken with the ÖFB Bundesnachwuchsleistungszentrum. Only a few weeks after the starting signal, Prodinger & Partner and their management consulting brands Neopraxx and Neopraxx Immo were won as the first strong partner and new name giver for the project. From now on, the academy will be known as Prodinger Campus Pinzgau.

“With Campus Pinzgau, we have taken the next professional step and want to build a stable foundation as quickly as possible. It was important to us that we create a unique offering for the region and focus on the next generation. We want to offer the Pinzgauers an optimal sporting platform in combination with a very good education – that is our credo. We have already succeeded very well in this at the start. We are very pleased that we have now found a first strong partner in Prodinger & Partner. The cooperation is designed for the long term and the support will fully benefit the campus and thus the Pinzgau young talent. A perfect combination”, explains the board of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden in unison.

In addition to monetary support, the logos of the Prodinger Group will also adorn the new jerseys of the campus teams. Lukas Prodinger, managing partner of Prodinger and their own consultancy Neopraxx GmbH: “We support the sporting youth work in Pinzgau with full conviction. In combination with the ensured compatibility of the training with Matura branch or apprenticeship, a showcase project for the region has succeeded, which hopefully offers many young talents the ideal framework conditions on their way to the top.” Markus Steiner, head of the firm and shareholder of the Prodinger Group and Neopraxx adds: “After the official ÖFB license could be brought to the Innergebirg, the decision was clear for us. The enormous rush for the admission shows how many talents are at home in the region. I am sure that local kickers from the Prodinger Campus Pinzgau will make it to the very top!” And further: “Our credo ‘it can be done!’ should always be a motivation and reminder to the kickers that with full commitment everything is possible!”

Footballing aspect and school and vocational training

The Prodinger Campus Pinzgau understands the school and professional training alongside soccer not only as a safeguard for life after the soccer career or in the event that the career does not go the desired way, but also as an important part of personality development. The necessary school cooperations with HAK Zell am See, HBLW Saalfelden, BG Sport RG HIB Saalfelden and HTL Saalfelden as well as sufficient boarding places have already been fixed, an apprentice model will also be implemented shortly. “For us, it was clear from the beginning that we not only want to promote the sporting field, but also to prepare the young people for a second mainstay with an education at the top level. We are convinced that we can offer our players a perfect framework so that they can develop in all areas,” said the FCPS board member. “Of course, the wide-ranging business areas of the Prodinger Group are also always open to the graduates for a later career start,” said Lukas Prodinger and Markus Steiner.

High Quality At The Start

Hannes Schützinger (NWZ Sports Manager) and Mike Pilko (Administrative Manager) have assumed overall responsibility for the exciting young talent project. Schützinger explains, “We are currently working on a training concept that we want to implement from the adults to our youngest players. It is intended to provide a rough framework, in which the coaches should of course add their personal touch. We have already achieved a lot, but there is still a lot of work ahead of us. The important thing is: we want to, we can and we do!”

Great Opportunity At The Sighting Day

On Saturday, September 30, 2023 and Friday, November 10, 2023, there will again be a sighting day for the 2007-2010 age groups (boys) at the 1508 SaalfeldenArena. There will also be a sighting day for girls (born 2009-2011) on Saturday, September 30, 2023. An additional girls’ team (U16) is planned for the 2024/25 season. More detailed information will be available soon at fcpscampus.at.

Yes! First Win Of Season https://fcps.at/yes-first-win-of-season/ Mon, 07 Aug 2023 09:36:20 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17150 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden beat TSV St. Johann 5-2 away on Friday evening and can be happy about the first success in the new season in the Regionalliga West.

The team of Hannes Schützinger found well into the game and set the first accents early. While the home side acted very robustly from the start, the Pinzgauers tried to find playful solutions. Practically out of nowhere, St. Johann took the lead after a poke through Sebastian Oberkofler. However, the guests did not let themselves down, continued to play their game consistently and deservedly took the lead through goals from Moritz Eder and Tamas Tandari. But the Pongau team took advantage of a lapse in concentration and equalized again through Oberkofler before the break.

In the second half of the game, the duel initially developed on an equal footing, but the mood changed and the fouls committed by the home side became more and more severe. However, the Schützinger eleven held their own and sent an important signal through substitute Philipp Zehntmayr and the third goal. After that, the self-confidence was higher and the ball sequences went off the foot more easily. In the final phase, Tandari and the eye-catching Semir Gvozdjar ensured the deserved 5:2 final score with goals four and five. The first three-pointer this season was thus perfect.

Statement
“It was the expected difficult game. St. Johann plays with a lot of high balls, which is not our style. Therefore, we have struggled to play them properly. But then we came in well and were the better team. After falling behind, we were able to turn the game in our direction, but had to concede the equalizer before the break. In the final phase, the momentum shifted to our side and we showed a super reaction to the opponent’s many fouls. Our chest then got bigger and bigger. Now we can be happy about a deserved victory,” Hannes Schützinger draws a first conclusion immediately after the game.

Cup Win In Opener https://fcps.at/cup-win-in-opener/ Sat, 22 Jul 2023 21:50:55 +0000 https://fcps.at/?p=17128 FC Pinzgau Saalfelden celebrated a spectacular 3:2 home victory against BSK 1933 in the first round of the ÖFB Cup on Saturday evening and advanced to the next round after a real show of strength. In the process, Hannes Schützinger’s team overcame a 0:2 deficit and was able to cheer about advancement in the end.

In the first half, apart from the first 15 minutes, the guests from the Pongau region had the action under control and took the lead through Bohdan Kuksenko (18th) and Said Daniel Llambay (28th). In the process, the Bischofshofeners took advantage of two carelessness ice-cold and already looked like the winner at the break. But in the second half, the home side turned the game around completely. Within just twelve minutes, the team of new coach Hannes Schützinger turned the game on its head. FCPS scored the 1:2 equalizer right after the kickoff with a beautiful header by Joao Pedro, before Semir Gvozdjar unstoppably put a free kick into the net for the equalizer (48th). Finally, Joao Pedro (57th) laced his brace and ensured the turnaround after an impressive recovery. In the end, Tandari & Co. celebrated a 3:2 home victory in the 1508 SaalfeldenArena and thus moved into the second round of the ÖFB Cup.

“The anticipation was very high with all of us and we got off to a very good start. Unfortunately, we fell behind due to two mistakes. Then not much fit in our game, we really struggled and stood deeper. We didn’t close the spaces anymore. The momentum shifted to our side when we scored the second goal. We were able to follow up right away and reward ourselves for our efforts. It was still hectic at the end, but we managed to hold on to the narrow lead. A successful start, which gives us a lot of self-confidence,” said Schützinger in a first reaction.

Lineup: Schröcker, Colic, Eder, Benedek, Ziege, Adjei, Zehentmayr, Moosmann, Joao Pedro (81. D. Hutter), Tandari, Gvozdjar (90.+3 Ramo)
