🆚 SW Bregenz v FC Pinzgau Saalfelden
🏆 Regionalliga West 2023, Round 2
🏟️ ImmoAgentur Stadion Bregenz
🕖 April 15, 2023 (16:00 CET) 🇦🇹 (10:00am EDT) 🇺🇸
After the somewhat unfortunate draw against SK Bischofshofen at the start of the Regionalliga West, FC Pinzgau head to Ländle for the first time this coming Saturday. Markus Fürstaller’s team will face the promotion aspirants Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. The Vorarlbergers, who are aiming for promotion to the second division, started with a sense of achievement against FC Kufstein, even though they only managed to score the decisive winning goal in an intense match shortly before the end of the game.
Tandari & Co. not only want to annoy the favorites, but also add to their own points tally. For the Pinzgauers, who expect the upcoming opponent to be different than in the opener, it’s all about continuing their own streak – they’ve now gone 11 league games without a defeat.
PERSONNEL SITUATION
David Rathgeb and David Hutter are not yet fit for action against SW Bregenz.
STATEMENT
“Bregenz will certainly show a different face against us, as they did in the first game against Kufstein. They acted very passively, retreated far into their own half and played on counters as well as relying on standards. That will certainly not be the goal in their stadium, I’m sure of that. We’re going into the game in Vorarlberg well prepared and want to take something countable with us at the end of the day. For that, we need to call up our performance again, just as we’ve done well in recent months.”
